Candidates with QuickBooks Online skills are seen to be bringing innovation and knowledge by employers. Quickbooks course provides LIVE online instruction on how to set up QuickBooks for small businesses. Students will learn about the data they need to track in their business and will become familiar with the most common tasks required, as well as the more advanced functions of the software.
Designed for the non-accounting expert, this course will focus on the skillset needed for typical daily business transactions. Accounting fundamentals are also provided for reference and review purposes. You will learn and apply these skills using practical hands-on exercises such as:
Students will learn how to create company files and deal with more advanced tasks for receivables, payables, inventory and payroll.
Upon completion of the course, students will be advanced QuickBooks users and will be fully prepared to write the Intuit QuickBooks Certified User Examination. QuickBooks Certified User Certification exams are components of Intuit’s QuickBooks Certification Program endorsed by Intuit Education. The exams are computer-based assessments of knowledge, competencies, and skills related to disciplines such as Implementation and/or Maintenance and include both knowledge-based questions like multiple choice & matching and performance-based formats. Successful completion of the examination validates a student’s QuickBooks knowledge and makes them an Intuit QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU), which is the best way to communicate their QuickBooks skills and expertise with potential employers. The QuickBooks Certified User Examination includes 50 simulation-based questions and a candidate has up to 50 minutes to complete the exam.
The Intuit QuickBooks Certified User Examination is not mandatory and is not included in the cost of the course.
Sanjay Bhatia is a Chartered Professional Accountant with more than 15 years of international experience working in the fields of bookkeeping, accounting, taxation in the United States, India and Canada. He is passionate about developing technical and professional skills of students demanded by employers in today’s highly competitive industry. He believes in sharing his wealth of experience and knowledge by imparting result-oriented education to future professionals. Sanjay has been teaching computerized accounting to students and he has taught various classes on accounting software, such as Sage 50. He is QuickBooks Desktop Certified and has also acquired certification in Sage Accounting. Sanjay worked at H&R Block for a few tax seasons and worked as an instructor imparting education and preparing future tax professionals to work during tax season.
Currently, Sanjay is working for a construction company handling the day to day office work and accounting for all its group companies and joint ventures. He also works part-time for a public accounting firm working on various projects ranging from bookkeeping to preparing taxes for corporations and individual taxation

Live Online Students
Ashton College uses web conferencing tools for conducting online classes and online learning management systems for managing resources, assignments, and grades. These tools help instructors and students connect live online as well as asynchronously. The basic requirements for online learning include a computer, webcam, speakers, and a microphone or a headset and headphones, along with a reliable internet connection. Though online learning can be pursued using smartphones and tablets, the use of laptops or desktop computers is encouraged for an enhanced learning experience.
This course does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training. As such, it was not reviewed.
