Nadia Tajdin
Nadia Tajdin is an educator with a passion for supporting mental well-being across all stages of life—from early childhood to older adulthood. With a background in public health, dementia studies, and personal support work, she has developed programmes that support individuals, care partners, and communities in better understanding and navigating their mental health.
Nadia has been actively involved in non-profits supporting people living with physical and cognitive disabilities, addictions, and substance misuse. Through home care, community programmes, and outreach initiatives, she has worked with youth and young adults, helping them access resources and build coping skills.
Nadia also works closely with students and care partners—including families, caregivers, and healthcare teams—providing guidance on person-centred culture, trauma, and violence. Her work focuses on helping others understand the impact of trauma, build resilience, and implement trauma-informed care practices, ensuring that those they support receive compassionate and informed care.
In addition, Nadia specializes in dementia care and ageing, leading person-centred care workshops that empower professionals to provide care with dignity, respect, and a deep understanding of each person’s life story.
