Regulated occupations in Canada require professionals to complete a specific number of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours to continue their membership and remain in good standing with respective regulatory bodies. Continuing professional development (CPD) is defined in most industries as the maintenance, enhancement and continuous improvement of knowledge, skills and career-related abilities.
