Alumni Update | Joanne Adorna

Published On: March 5, 2019

When one’s passion is to help people, there are many ways of going about it. Joanne immigrated to Canada back in 2009 with a significant background in healthcare. In Canada, her adopted country, she continued her career as a registered nurse. She also continued to explore new ways of helping others, both through her work and volunteering. When one of her friends fell victim to an unlawful immigration consultant, Joanne decided to become a consultant herself and make a difference in people’s lives by providing reliable and honest service to those who wish to immigrate to Canada.

Joanne Adorna's Journey

But as a full-time registered nurse at a hospital, Joanne found it tough to combine her job and school. So, taking an online course made the most sense to her. Joanne chose the Immigration Consultant Diploma program at Ashton College because of its convenience and flexibility in program delivery, knowledgeable instructors and the opportunity to take a Full-Skills Exam Prep Course after her diploma to get ready for the RCIC designation exam. Today, she credits Ashton for all her success.
