Ashton College is currently offering four bursaries to outstanding students who wish to enroll in a full-time program. Each bursary has a maximum value of $8,000. The August 30 deadline for submission is rapidly approaching. Apply today!
Unfortunately, many of these newcomers are unable to secure a job that matches their level of education and work experience. As a result, many highly-skilled immigrants must rely on low-paying jobs outside of their vocational expertise.
Ashton College strives to rectify this problem and enable immigrants to pursue their dream careers. In partnership with Canadian Immigrant magazine, we offer the Lilian To Bursary to newly landed immigrants enrolled in full-time programs.
Melissa Remulla-Briones, one of last year’s Lilian To Bursary winners, feels that she is now “a step closer to [her] dream.” The bursary gave her “the push that things will be better for [me and my family] in Canada.”
