Who can supervise my practicum?

The practicum supervisor must be a CHIMA certified professional. They must occupy a lead or managerial role in the department and actively be involved with overseeing the area where the student will be completing the practicum activities. The practicum supervisor may assign portions of the practicum to other professionals within the department; however, they are ultimately responsible for your experience on site, and for evaluating your practicum activities.
