We had such a pleasure chatting with alumna Sharon George, who has recently completed our Immigration Legal Assistant Certificate Program! Sharon, originally from Liberia, started out in Corporate Responsibility in the oil and gas sector, but after going through the immigration process of moving to Canada she realized her passion was in the immigration industry. With her ultimate goal of becoming a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, she said the Immigration Legal Assistant Certificate Program was the perfect stepping stone into the immigration field and has prepared her for the next steps in her career journey toward becoming an RCIC. In this interview, Sharon talks about her first experience doing a career program online, her thoughts on the instructors, and the importance of passion in this work.
