CPD – Annual Review: 2021 Summary – 2022 Targets, Three Processing Streams: Economic, Refugees, and Family Class, PNPS: Alberta and Ontario, and the Future

On Thursday, October 21st, 2021, Ashton College hosted another free webinar to support the continuing professional development of legal professionals across the country. This CPD event covered a summary of changes to immigration law over the last number of years, an overview of foreign credential assessments and a breakdown of business immigration processing options. There were practice tips shared for new immigration consultants to help them succeed in the industry. Our expert panel also reflected on what transpired in 2021 and future targets for 2022 and 2023.

This event is approved by ICCRC for 4 CPD hours. To comply with the annual requirement, an RCIC must complete 16 CPD hours. How can you log your CPD hours? Check out page three of this recent ICCRC bulletin for complete instructions on how to obtain your CPD hours with ICCRC through their brand new Continuing Competence Portal.

CPD hours for Lawyers:
1) The Law Society of Saskatchewan has pre-approved this for 4.5 CPD credits.
