Through this course, students will learn vital Microsoft Azure administration and security skills through expert live online instruction. This course will be the first step in preparing to pass the exams necessary to become a Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate. Ashton College recommends taking Microsoft Azure Certification (Advanced Course) right after completing the Microsoft Azure Certification (Basic Course).

George Mikhailov holds a master’s degree in IT Security and has industry certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and CEH ( Certified Ethical Hacker). He is currently working on his PhD, focusing on advanced threat detection.

Ashton College uses web conferencing tools to help instructors and students connect and collaborate live online. For the online classes, students need to have a fully functional computer system with a webcam, speakers and microphone or headset and headphones, along with a reliable high-speed internet connection. Though the classes can be accessed using smartphones and tablets, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer for a better learning experience.
