This online course updates licensed immigration professionals on Permanent Resident Program: Economic Classes processing.
Permanent Resident Programs: Economic Classes are designed to attract skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and investors who can contribute to Canada's economic growth. 1 These programs aim to fill labor shortages, stimulate innovation, and create jobs. Key pathways include:-
Federal Skilled Worker Program, targeting individuals with in-demand skills and experience
Canadian Experience Class, prioritizing those with Canadian work experience, and programs for skilled trades, entrepreneurs, and investors

An overview of the relevant sections of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR), and Ministerial Instructions relating to the Economic Classes (with the exception of Provincial Nominee Programs)
An overview of the applications and procedures related to Permanent Resident Programs: Economic Classes including: Federal Skilled Workers, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skills Trades, Start-Up Business Class, Self-Employed Persons, Atlantic Immigration Project, Caregiver Classes, Agri-Food Pilot, Economic Mobility Pathways, Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Project Program and any other Federal Economic Program Initiatives.

The registration fee for this course is $450.
