Parker, Sheena

Sheena Parker (she/her) brings to Ashton College a diverse professional background, with degrees in both Science and Nursing. She has over 20 years of health care experience in; Emergency, Critical Care, Mental Health, Community Health, and Management. Sheena's rich career has afforded her the ability to practice throughout Canada in; Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, NWT and Nunavut in many advanced practices and leadership roles. Her graduate studies included being a part of the first cohort of Family Nurse Practitioners for the province of British Columbia. Additionally, Sheena has a passion for post-secondary education, and this is evident in her many years of teaching at various Alberta Universities and Colleges. Sheena is excited to join Ashton College, where she can continue to share her passion for teaching in a post-secondary environment. At the same time, she embarks on her academic pursuits to obtain a Doctoral degree. Sheena currently works in a leadership role within Alberta Health Services.
