Fred Y-F Li is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and Managing Director & Partner at an immigration practice firm. He has over 24 years of experience of combined experience advising clients on all Canadian immigration matters. He has experience in advising and providing strategic immigration solutions for international clients with an emphasis on business immigration, representing small to multi-national corporate employers engaged in hiring temporary foreign workers and acted as Counsel for clients before the Immigration & Refugee Board of Canada. In addition to Fred’s Canadian immigration expertise, he has acted for individuals and employers with US immigration matters. Fred is also a designated paralegal and has worked at three leading Canadian National Law Firms in the areas of labour & employment, human rights, civil litigation, corporate, family, contract, insolvency and alternative dispute resolution. He is also an adjunct instructor teaching immigration law courses and serves as a Member of various committees with the College of Immigration & Citizenship Consultants. Fred is also an avid volunteer and occasionally volunteers for non-profit organizations such as the Immigrant Services Society of BC, Access Pro Bono and the Butterfly Support Network.
Finally, he is knowledgeable in mental health issues and regularly conducts learning seminars on mental health awareness, harassment in the workplace, practice management, professional ethics, and effective strategies for managing stress and depression.
