Mediation

Live Online Info Session

Join us for a Live Online Info Session about our Mediation course with instructor Sharon Seidler, who will answer your questions live. Ashton College staff will also be available to advise and answer your questions about admissions and other general questions about the course.

The mediation training course is perfect for those who want to learn the art of mediation from beginner level to pro. Mediation is popular with a wide range of HR professionals as it reduces stress, resolves conflict and restores working relationships, all in substantially less time than it takes to conduct a formal grievance. The teaching of mediation skills is best accomplished through a combination of readings, lectures, demonstrations, role-play and critique, which will be carried out live online. Live role-playing, with feedback from experienced instructors, is appropriately the primary methodology for developing those skills.  It will equip students with a mediator’s skill set and the ability to guide others in dispute resolution. Throughout the course, students will learn how to deal with emotions, how to overcome intense negotiations, and students will gain the ability to lead parties to a desired outcome.

We look forward to connecting with you online! To find out more about the course:
