We had such a pleasure chatting with alumna Mariam Otobo, who has recently completed our Immigration Legal Assistant Certificate Program! Mariam, originally from Nigeria, came to Canada in 2014 and earned a bachelor's degree from Western University in Political Science and Sociology. She began assisting her friends with their student visa applications and realized that immigration was something she was very interested in. Mariam researched various immigration programs, ultimately choosing Ashton College's Immigration Legal Certificate Program. In this interview, Mariam talks about her experience in the program, making friends in class, and her future goals in the immigration field.
