Ashton College offers a Legal Immigration Assistant Program that provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career in the immigration field. As a graduate of this program, I can confidently say that I enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to others. In this blog post, I will share some of the reasons why I enjoyed the program at Ashton College.
The Legal Immigration Assistant program is taught by experienced instructors who have a deep understanding of immigration law and policy. They bring their real-world experience into the classroom and provide practical examples to help students understand complex legal concepts. The instructors are also approachable and willing to answer any questions that students may have.
The curriculum is designed to prepare students for the challenges of working in the immigration field. The program covers a range of topics, including immigration law and policy, refugee law, temporary and permanent residency, and citizenship applications. Students also learn practical skills such as document preparation, client communication, and case management.
The Legal Immigration Assistant program offers a variety of interactive learning opportunities, including group discussions, case studies, and mock interviews. These activities help students apply what they have learned in a practical context and develop their problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ashton College provides a supportive learning environment that allows students to ask questions and collaborate with their peers. The small class sizes allow for more personalized attention from instructors and foster a sense of community among students.
Ashton College has a strong network of industry partners and connections, which provides students with access to job opportunities and networking events.
My experience in the Legal Immigration Assistant program at Ashton College was a positive one. The experienced instructors, practical curriculum, interactive learning opportunities, supportive environment, and career opportunities all contributed to an enjoyable and valuable learning experience. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in pursuing a career in the immigration field. Eimear Doyle.
