The world of digital marketing and UX design are sometimes interchangeable. Both professions often work in the same team, as they both deal with branding and advertising. Considering these roles require personnel to engage with customer or client relations, professionals must have solid marketing expertise. According to Mailchimp, digital marketing is “the promotion of brands to connect with potential customers using the internet and other forms of digital communication.” To put it another way, digital marketing is concerned with the promotion of products and services via social media, emails, SEO, and other means. The difference between UX design and digital marketing is that the latter places a higher priority on increasing revenue through customer conversion.
