Ashton College was first established in 1999 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Over the past 16 years, we have grown into an international force in the field of education, and currently offer over 25 different courses in a variety of disciplines. At Ashton, we believe that education should be innovative, accessible and hands-on. All of our programs and courses are designed with the learner in mind. Small class sizes allow for a personalized experience while our flexible program options allow students to complete their studies while fulfilling their current obligations and responsibilities.
At Ashton, we want to help you build your career. In fact, we’re so committed to our students that we have centered both of our 2015 institutional goals around them.
At Ashton we understand that while education is an important part of your life, it’s not the only thing in it. Our flexible formats and online courses make it possible for anyone with a mobile device, internet access and a bit of determination to accomplish their goals. We’re working every day to increase our online course offerings and to enhance our award-winning online platforms to further aid collaborative learning.
Our primary aim is to provide practical, real-world education that bridges the gap between theory and application. All of Ashton’s faculty members are experienced professionals who are more than happy to share their expertise with up-and-coming students. Because we believe that practice makes perfect, many of our programs also include a practicum component and hands-on training in order to further prepare students for the industry they are hoping to enter.
Ashton is committed to our students from first encounter to long after graduation. While at Ashton, we want to continually ensure that students are satisfied with the curriculum, level of instruction, learning resources, and student services available to them. We continually monitor student feedback to ensure our standard of excellence is reflected in every department and interaction. Students are encouraged to present their ideas, comments and questions to their instructors, program advisers and student services coordinators. At Ashton, we welcome feedback and are always looking to improve.
Our commitment also includes a variety of student services and programs, including oustanding technical support, personalized program advising, and ongoing job-placement assistance from our career services department. Our career services department assists students and alumni in finding meaningful and rewarding work through our extensive network of employers and practicum providers.
Ashton College is committed to providing a quality learning environment for all students. We present programs which are industry accredited and directly related to specific career paths, provide hands-on training, and support our students and alumni throughout their careers.
