On April 24, wear jeans in support of BC Children’s Hospital. In what is probably the easiest fundraiser you can participate in, Jeans Day is so simple you’d be silly not to participate!
Happening across the province as well as in the Yukon, thousands of people will wear jeans to work to show their love and support for the BC Children’s Hospital. Participants can purchase 2014 Jeans Day buttons for $5.00 or lapel pins for $20.00 both of which can be found in Room 410 at the Ashton College campus.
Each year, participating organizations help raise more than $1 million dollars. This money goes to areas of need within the Children’s Hospital including critical research and towards advanced technologies necessary to make leading pediatric care accessible to our province’s one million children.
In addition, everyone who participates Jeans Day is eligible for a chance to win two round-trip tickets to anywhere in North America! This prize is generously provided by Air Canada.
If you are looking for lunch plans on April 24, drop by the Vancouver Art Gallery (just a few blocks away from Ashton College), between 11:30 and 1:30 pm for a BBQ hosted by the Glowbal Collection in support of Jeans Day efforts.
