Alberta Employment Law

Live Online Info Session

Join us for a live online info session about our Alberta Employment Law Course with instructor Sharon Seidler. Ashton College staff will also be available to advise and answer your questions about admissions and other general questions about the course.

The Alberta Employment Law course examines Alberta’s employment laws in great detail. Students will gain a foundational understanding of the various aspects of the province’s employment law regime.

The professional world revolves around employment, so having knowledge of the laws governing employment in your province will give you an advantage in your career. Although there are commonalities in employment laws across Canada, every province in the nation has a unique set of employment laws in place.

To gain a full understanding of employment law in Alberta, students will become familiar with the legislation and various regulating bodies that pertain to this area of law. Through this course, students will become deeply familiar with Alberta labour laws and how they affect employers and employees.

Students will learn every aspect of Alberta Employment law from how the laws are made to how they are implemented, and how they are enforced.

We look forward to connecting with you online! To find out more about the course:
