Immigration Assistant Studies: We chatted with alumna Sharon George who has recently completed our Immigration Legal Assistant Program! Sharon, originally from Liberia, started out in Corporate Responsibility in the oil and gas sector. After going through the immigration process of moving to Canada she realized her passion was in the immigration industry. With her ultimate goal of becoming a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, this Program was the perfect stepping stone. The Program has prepared her for the next steps in her career journey toward becoming an RCIC. In this interview, Sharon talks about her first experience doing a career program online.
Immigration Assistants in Canada provide invaluable support to individuals and families navigating the complexities of the Canadian immigration system. Their primary role involves guiding clients through the application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately prepared and submitted. This includes assessing client eligibility for various immigration programs, explaining requirements and timelines, and providing ongoing support throughout the application journey.
Furthermore, Immigration Assistants act as intermediaries between their clients and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
