Courtney Sabo is a Certified Health Information Management professional and a proud graduate of the Health Information Management program at Red River College Polytechnic (Winnipeg), class of 2016. With a background in coding, she further advanced her expertise in 2024 by completing the Coding and Classification Specialist program (CHA).
Her professional experience includes working as a Coding Technologist at various facilities in Winnipeg. She currently holds a remote position as a Coding Specialist, in addition to serving as a Health Information Specialist with CHIMA/CCHIM.
Prior to entering the HIM field, Courtney worked as a veterinary nurse and professional pet groomer — a reflection of her lifelong love for animals. She shares her home with two large rescue dogs, Roxie and Boston, and a quirky cat named Charles.
