I completed the Immigration Legal Assistant Diploma program at Ashton College. Transitioning to online learning was a new experience for me, and I was initially uncertain about managing study alongside work commitments. Moreover, coming from a different field prior to this program, I felt a bit apprehensive. However, throughout my journey, the instructors and staff were consistently supportive, enabling us to pursue our new careers in the legal field with confidence. The program was meticulously organized, providing clear and easy-to-follow instructions. Through comprehensive study of the Canadian immigration system, including the Act and Regulations, I gained invaluable insights. The inclusion of case studies proved particularly beneficial, offering practical applications and enhancing my understanding of the responsibilities of a legal assistant.
