A Serbian immigrant, Djordje Lazarevic has over seven years of experience in the construction industry, and is now the co-owner of Libertas Home Inspections in Vancouver.
For Djordje, a typical day includes performing 1-2 home inspections per day, writing and delivering inspection reports to clients, and meeting with realtors and brokers. Djordje chose the Home Inspection program because of the program length, small class sizes, and convenient location. “I learned how to write professional home inspection reports, how to inspect all the systems of the house and how to better understand the condition of the property. My instructors were industry veterans, and used real-world examples to help us better understand the material and ensure we were workplace-ready upon graduation.”

Over the next five years, Djordje plans to expand his company, and hopes to hire future Ashton Home Inspection graduates. “It is an excellent program with expert teachers that can prepare you for a rewarding career in home inspection.
