Register TodayThe Life Licence Qualification Program is a certification program that will allow you to write the provincial insurance regulator's licensing exam. The program is organized into modules on Life Insurance, Accident and Sickness Insurance, Segregated Funds and Annuities, and Ethics and Professional Practice.

If you pass the certification exams from a course provider, you will have four chances to pass all the provincial exams. The duration of each exam is 75 minutes and there are 30 questions for each module, except for Ethics and Professional Practice which has 20 questions.
Once you complete your certification exams, the course provider will upload this information to your profile. You will then be able to write the Provincial LLQP Licensing exams.
Once the candidate has passed the certification exam, they will have one year to pass four course module exams. They must get a minimum of 60% on each exam in order to proceed with the licensing process.
All certification exams will be done online to make sure everyone follows the rules and to keep the exam fair. Advocis has partnered with Integrity Advocate, a Canadian company, to provide secure online exams. You will need to complete an attestation and identity validation process before you can get access to the course materials.
Before you can take the online proctored certification exam, you need to complete a second identification validation process. You can find all the instructions, resources and information you need for the exam preparation and rules in the Advocis Learning Environment. This is an area accessible only to registered students.

Effective February 28, 2023 exams will be changed from a single online proctored exam to modular online exams. Candidates will have four attempts per modular to pass, a grade of 60% or higher is required to pass each modular exam. If candidates fail after the fourth attempt of any modular exam, they must retake the course.
The first try is free, and online proctored certification exams are available 24/7 with no need to book an appointment. If you have to take the exam again, it is strongly recommended that you take at least 24 hours between exam attempts to revisit resources and to strengthen your weak areas with chapter quizzes, videos and other tools that are available to you.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
